vadi.agem is a cultural agenda for Portugal powered by live data. It currently brings together 3,615 events in 182 cities, across 8 regions — mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores — and 12 cultural areas.
Where the name comes from
vadi.agem is vadiagem — roaming freely through the culture around you. The name nods to the philosopher Agostinho da Silva and his “Conversas Vadias”, and to a line of his: we aren’t born to work, but to create — to be a poet on the loose. We don’t aim to be perfect; we aim to be useful, and to make it a little easier to head out, wander and live what’s happening near you.
Live data
Cities and events are read from the vadi.agem API. The agenda is updated as new cultural sources are collected, normalised and reviewed.
Privacy and cookies
We take your privacy seriously. We use analytics only to understand what works and make the agenda better — never for advertising. Essentials keeps basic page analytics active; accepting allows richer product events. The full details are on the Privacy page.
Gems and account
Gem payments, wallet top-ups, tickets, collections and account preferences are still prototype features. They are shown to test the product experience and do not represent real payments, reservations or user accounts.
Territorial coverage
The agenda covers the five mainland regions and the two island regions, Madeira and the Azores, with city pages and event listings expanding as live data becomes available.
Editorial responsibility
vadi.agem is maintained by the agem editorial team. We review suggestions, correct published pages and prioritise requests with an official source, near date or direct impact on tickets and travel.
Sources and corrections
We use public information from cultural organisers, venues, municipalities, ticket offices and submitted corrections. Before planning a trip, confirm dates, tickets and conditions with the promoter, ticket office, municipality, venue or other official source.
