In painting (with representative works of Portuguese painting by Carlos Reis, João Reis, Falcão Trigoso, Eduarda Lapa, Silva Porto, Henrique Medina, José Malhoa, Abel Salazar, among others), engraving, sculpture, drawing, glass (with species of Portuguese glass and crystals from the Vista Alegre and Marinha Grande factories and Bohemian crystal), in goldsmithing and tapestry, Egas Moniz managed to acquire pieces of rarity and beauty, antiquity and delicacy that are now found in the CASA MUSEU EGAS MONIZ and that allow us to glimpse a little of his personal life, as if spiritually meeting again the eminent scientist, analyzing him from a somewhat different perspective - in his intimacy.
