7th Summer Choral Academy – Leiria 2026

The 7th Summer Choral Academy – Leiria 2026 focuses on the development of choral practice in the Leiria region, with particular attention to the training of new choral conductors. The proposed work aims to strengthen technical, artistic, and human skills, supporting those who will lead choral groups in the future.

In parallel, the academy includes training in vocal technique, designed both for choir singers and for future solo singers. The program also values the listening experience and knowledge of high-quality choral repertoire, with an emphasis on Portuguese music from different periods.

In addition to individual training, the initiative seeks to encourage the creation of new choral groups, not only in the main urban centers of the district, but also in more remote and inland areas, through projects linked to communities and to newly graduated choral conductors.
