The Library Goes to the Beach!

Integrated into Summer Entertainment 2026, "A Biblioteca vai à Praia!" proposes bringing reading outside, enlivening the river beaches of the municipality of Cantanhede, the Ançã Natural Pool, and Praia da Tocha.

Designed for audiences of all ages, the initiative combines staged stories and leisure moments with music, movement, artistic expression, and interaction among participants. The goal is to create spaces for gathering and learning in a summer setting, strengthening reading habits and promoting intergenerational encounters around culture and fun.
