The Gingerbread House

Inspired by *Hänsel und Gretel*, also known as *A Casinha de Chocolate*, this session offers a journey through Engelbert Humperdinck's classic, premiered in 1893. The sopranos Mariana Chaves and Helena de Castro guide the audience through excerpts from the opera, in an experience designed for the very young and for adults who want to rediscover this work or hear it for the first time.
