Adèle Hugo, Victor Hugo's second daughter, arrives in Nova Scotia in 1863 and looks for her former lover, Lieutenant Pinson. Despite the rejection, she remains trapped in a passion that turns into a self-destructive obsession. The screening is part of the François Truffaut retrospective and presents the restored digital copy of the film.
