The Odyssey

Christopher Nolan directs an adaptation of "A Odisseia", the epic poem of Ancient Greece traditionally attributed to Homer and written around 700 BC, here presented as an adventure filmed entirely with the new IMAX technology.

The film follows Odysseus, also known as Ulysses, king of Ithaca, on his journey home after the Trojan War. Along the way, he faces cyclopes, sirens, storms and angry gods, in a story of courage and perseverance that brings him, two decades later, back to Penelope and Telemachus.

The cast includes Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, Tom Holland, Josh Stewart, Benny Safdie, Elliot Page, Charlize Theron, Samantha Morton, Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon. The film has the original title "The Odyssey", belongs to the adventure genre, runs 172 minutes and is rated for ages 14 and up.
