A Pedalar Pela Fronteira… in Watercolours

Pedro Gil, originally from Leiria and a cycle tourist, presents in Tomar a set of watercolours born from the project *A Pedalar Pela Fronteira*, carried out in 2021. Over 19 days, the route took him through inland Portugal, along the border with Spain, between Moledo do Minho and Vila Real de Santo António.

The journey was also the starting point for his return to watercolour, in a process that worked as a rediscovery of line, techniques and materials, after around thirty years away. The exhibition brings together this gaze of recording and discovery, crossing the experience of cycle touring with watercolour painting.
