A Viagem

In *A Viagem*, Filipa Francisco starts from the encounter with the El-Funoun Traditional and Contemporary Dance Company, in Palestine, to reflect on the power of traditional dance and on how it can dialogue with modernity without losing its roots.

The performance confronts popular legacies with the paths of contemporary dance, extending a research into the social and political function of art and into new forms of relationship with the audience. The presentation is part of the PDL26 programme and takes place at Teatro Micaelense.
