Story Ark

Arca de Histórias offers storytime sessions designed for children aged 4 to 12, in a format in which the book appears as an object of pleasure and a starting point for imagination. Throughout the initiative, stories are used to encourage oral expression, curiosity, reasoning, and creativity.

The activity takes place on Saturdays, from January to July and from September to December, with a break in August, and is part of the celebrations for the 2nd anniversary of the Public Libraries Network of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, created on 26 June 2024. The network brings together the public libraries of the 18 municipalities in the region and makes it possible for readers registered at the Seixal Municipal Library to enroll in any of the other libraries in the metropolitan area, and vice versa.
