The influence of inexplicable forces on the human psyche, Greek theatre today, a multisensory artistic experience in communion with the natural environment. Priestesses celebrate the mysteries of the god Dionysus, highlighting his ritual; Greek tragedy in an action that moves through spaces and involves the spectator at various moments, a procession in delirium and colour whose theme evokes questioning about free thought and the value of a religion.

Created during an artistic residency at the Côa Museum, “The Bacchae”, by Euripides, with translation by Natália Correia, is the emblematic production of the 40th anniversary celebrations of Filandorra, and is based on an aesthetic conceived scenically for outdoor spaces, in relation to built cultural heritage.
