Black Box

In 2026, the partnership between the Porta-Jazz association and Guimarães Jazz returns with "Filigrana", a performance that brings together the quartet led by Miguel Meirinhos and the visual artist Joana BC. The music starts from Meirinhos’ piano and also features Duarte Ventura on vibraphone, Roger Kintopf on double bass, and Gonçalo Ribeiro on drums.

The focus of the presentation is the interaction between sound and visual intervention, a hallmark of this collaboration between Porta-Jazz and Guimarães Jazz. The result is a proposal designed to bring musical language and visual arts together in the same stage moment.
