Bombino

Bombino performs at Festa do Avante! with a repertoire born from the historical experience of the Tuareg and from music made to affirm dignity and peace. Born in 1980 in Tidene, Niger, the guitarist learned to play during exile in Algeria and Libya, when music was banned in his region. His international career has included albums such as *Agadez*, *Nomad*, produced by Dan Auerbach, *Azel* and *Deran*, in a sound that blends desert Berber rhythms and Western-inspired electric guitar.
