Railway Heritage Walk
about the event
This walk offers a route of about 5 km through places linked to Barreiro’s railway memory, including Casa dos Ferroviários, the first station in Barreiro, Bairro Ferroviário, Doca Seca, the former Barreiro-Mar station, and the Seixal-Barreiro bridge. The initiative combines physical activity and heritage discovery on an easy route, designed for the general public. Participation is free upon registration and is limited to 20 people.
