Cantar-o-Lar

Led by Orquestra Sem Fronteiras, Cantar-o-Lar brings together artists from four care homes in Aveiro in a community art project that turns the stories and memories of older people into original songs. In this 3rd edition, the proposal strengthens the idea of shared creation and connection between generations, with the participation of Centro Social Santa Joana Princesa, Centro Paroquial S. Bernardo, Florinhas do Vouga and Fundação Casa do Pessoal Segurança Social e Saúde do Distrito de Aveiro. The artistic direction is by Beatriz Mendes, Daniel Almeida, Raquel Tavares, Stephanie Rowcliffe and Martim Sousa Tavares.
