Carolina Bianchi Y Cara de Cavalo / The Brotherhood

The Brotherhood is the second chapter of the Cadela Força trilogy. Carolina Bianchi, in collaboration with the company Cara de Cavalo, delves into the complexity of pacts of masculinity, the possible origins of fraternity and its codes — many of them responsible for perpetuating sexual violence as part of its vocabulary. The proposal does not seek to simplify the theme and also acknowledges the fascination that this brotherhood can arouse, especially when associated with the History of Art. The text thus approaches the constant tension between repulsion and attraction in the face of male power dynamics. Using theatrical devices, Bianchi builds possible paths for reflection, establishing dense connections between representation and real trauma, between power structures in art and a radical poetics. At the same time, she investigates the origins of misogyny and a sexuality in crisis.
