Cinema "A Memória do Cheiro das Coisas"

The film follows Arménio, an octogenarian and former soldier in the Colonial War, who lives in a nursing home and relives painful memories of the war in Angola. In this setting marked by loneliness, he forms a deep relationship with Hermínia, a young staff member of African origin, in a drama about guilt, aging and solidarity.

Directed by António Ferreira, from a screenplay written with Tiago Cravidão, the film stars José Martins and Mina Andala in the lead roles and is part of the film program promoted by Cineclube Octopus at Cine-Teatro Garrett.
