Cinema "Mr. Nobody Contra Putin"

At Cine-Teatro Garrett, "Mr. Nobody Against Putin" is presented, a documentary centered on Pavel Talankin, a teacher in Karabash, in the Chelyabinsk Oblast area. Based on footage shot over two years, the film shows how the school was shaped by propaganda linked to the invasion of Ukraine and recruitment for the Russian army. Co-written with David Borenstein, the documentary also follows Talankin's departure from Russia in 2024 and marks the journey that led the film to be awarded the Oscar for Best Documentary in 2026.
