An unavoidable figure in the underground imagination, Claiana brings to the stage a performance with strong personality and movement. Originally from São Nicolau, Cabo Verde, Aguinaldo Conceição grew up outside traditional music, absorbing influences from across the Atlantic until he created his own language, sung by himself, which gives his songs an instantly recognizable signature.
