Puppet Makers in Portugal in the 21st Century

The Museu da Marioneta marks its 25th anniversary with an exhibition dedicated to the artists who, in the 21st century, have been giving shape, movement, and expression to puppets in Portugal.

The exhibition brings together the work of 13 Portuguese creators and highlights the diversity of techniques, materials, and languages that have marked the evolution of this art form. Throughout the exhibition period, the public can also take part in guided tours, designed to deepen their view of the pieces and of the creative processes on display.
