Looking to the Coast with the Coastwatch Project

In Foz do Arelho, this interpretive walk invites participants to follow the coastline and the tide while observing and identifying living beings along the route. The group is also encouraged to recognize polluting materials carried by the wind and the tides, reflecting on their impact on marine life. Part of GEOTA’s Coastwatch project, the activity brings together environmental education, sustainability, citizen science and environmental volunteering.
