D-Day: Under Pressure

In the seventy-two hours leading up to D-Day, the film follows the decisive choice about the weather that could jeopardize the greatest seaborne invasion in history. James Stagg, the United Kingdom's chief meteorologist, is called upon to predict the right moment while confronting the Allied leadership; on the other side, Dwight D. Eisenhower must decide with only a few hours to spare. Directed by Anthony Maras, it stars Andrew Scott, Brendan Fraser, Kerry Condon, Chris Messina, Damian Lewis and the rest of the cast in a portrait of historical tension around the course of the war.
