Dia da Cidade

Póvoa de Varzim marks City Day with a celebration split between an institutional tribute and live music. First comes a ceremony dedicated to the 12 parish councils of the municipality, in a collective gesture of recognition that marks the date across the city.

The evening continues with a concert by Ana Bacalhau, which brings the festive moment to Passeio Alegre. This is the 53rd edition of the City Day commemoration, with the ceremony at Póvoa Arena and the concert on the Passeio Alegre stage.
