From Coal to Electricity

The Ermesinde Cultural Forum presents the exhibition «From Coal to Electricity», part of Entrelinhas. The show brings together photographs of locomotives and railcars from private collections of curious observers and enthusiasts, and follows, over 60 years, the electrification of the Porto–Ermesinde section on the Minho Line. Through this journey, it revisits a decisive step in the modernization of regional mobility and in Portuguese railway history.
