Music Encounters Celebrate Freedom in Gondomar

At the Municipal Auditorium of Gondomar, “Encontros com a Música – A Música e a Liberdade” offers a commented programme that connects classical music, protest songs and Portuguese popular music, in symbolic link with 25 April. The concert is part of the Encontros com a Música 2026 cycle, designed to bring the public closer to music through explanations that contextualize works and composers.

The cycle continues throughout the year with other thematic sessions, including Music and Dance, The History of Music in Music, Music and Literature, Romanticism in Music and Painting, and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
