Between Me and the Void

“Entre Eu e o Vazio”, by INTRANZYT Cia, starts from *Crónica do Pássaro de Corda*, by Murakami, to build a piece where dance, mask theatre and puppetry meet. Patrick Murys’s creation avoids a linear narrative and focuses on physical experience, archetypes and the transformations of the body on stage.

The performance is interpreted by Celia Foster, Coppelia Alfevos, Inês Portugal, Jack Ullman and Mariana Silva, with choreography by Cristina Pereira and mask and puppet creation by Sandra Neves. The show also includes a practical and playful workshop on movement, puppetry and masks, as well as a masterclass for dance and theatre students, reinforcing the crossing of creation, technique and experimentation that runs through the entire project.
