Especial BABELL

In partnership with BABELL, Batalha Centro de Cinema presents three film screenings with movies based on literary works by Olga Tokarczuk, Margaret Atwood and Milton Hatoum. The initiative accompanies a new literary and cultural event promoted by Fundação Livraria Lello in co-production with Câmara Municipal do Porto, designed to turn the city into a living literary ecosystem, with activities spread across streets, squares and municipal venues.

The three authors — Olga Tokarczuk, Nobel Prize winner in 2018, Margaret Atwood and Milton Hatoum — take part in the event, reinforcing the dialogue between literature and cinema.
