You Are Part of It, Do Your Part

"You are part of it. Do your part!" is a pedagogical project by Betweien for students in the 3rd cycle of Basic Education, designed to work on citizenship, democratic participation and critical thinking. The proposal combines a fictional theatre play, close to young people's experiences and linked to Portuguese collective history, with a live musical moment on the topics addressed and an educational activity.

The show seeks to raise awareness of human rights, equality and freedom, while also reinforcing the role of civil society organizations in public policies and in building a more tolerant and participatory society. The Revolution of April 25, 1974 appears as a central reference point for framing democracy and encouraging young people's involvement in social and political life.
