Calendar The century-old Feira Anual returns to Vila Franca de Xira from 2 a 11 de Outubro. The bull-running waits in the city streets take place on Saturday, the 3rd, at 16:30, and on the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th, at 10:30. The 45th edition of the Salão de Artesanato takes place at the Parque Urbano de Vila Franca de Xira Multi-Purpose Pavilion, showcasing and teaching skills passed down from hand to hand that produce unique works. On a national scale, visitors can admire highly distinctive and culturally diverse articles made from clay, metal, wood, cork and glass—raw materials that become special, high-quality products bearing the Portuguese mark.
