Festa do Colete Encarnado - Tradição com gosto e orgulho!

Vila Franca de Xira once again puts on the Red Vest with a programme that brings together bullfighting tradition, tribute to the campino and musical entertainment on several stages. There are bull watches, bull releases, a bull run for young people, a calf fight and the Bullfight at Palha Blanco, as well as the Tribute to the Campino, which honours Francisco Honrado and awards the Pampilho de Honra in the name of “Joaquim Carlos do Santos”.

The music lineup includes names such as Toy, Fernando Daniel, D.A.M.A, Camané, Raya Evolution, Festa M80, DJ’s Jay Rich and António Mendes - RFM, among other offerings such as Sevillian dances and fado. The organisation also provides free round-trip transport to make mobility easier during the festival.
