Black Scabbardfish Gastronomic Festival - Câmara de Lobos

The Black Scabbardfish Gastronomic Festival, in Câmara de Lobos, highlights one of the major references of Madeiran cuisine and pays tribute to the men of the sea who bring this fish to the table. The initiative, promoted by the Câmara de Lobos Parish Council, takes place in the bay of the village and brings together regional flavors, music, entertainment, and live cooking demonstrations with recipes made using local products. The first edition took place in 1993, and the event remains linked to the celebration of the regional product.
