Feasts of Saint Bento 2026

The Festas de São Bento return to Santo Tirso between 5 and 12 July, with a programme that brings together tradition and modernity and offers proposals for different generations. The edition includes concerts, the Arraial dos Carvalhais, Há Baile no Largo, popular entertainment, religious celebrations and fireworks.

Over eight days, the activities are spread across several spaces in the city, such as Praça 25 de Abril, Jardim dos Carvalhais, Praça Conde São Bento, Mosteiro de São Bento, Quinta de Fora and Largo Coronel Baptista Coelho. Among the featured names are Plutonio, Buba Espinho and Bandidos do Cante, Gabriel o Pensador and Carolina Varela Ribeiro.
