Barrô Muscat Grape Festival

On 22 and 23 August, S. Domingos, in the parish of Barrô, hosts another edition of the Barrô Muscat Grape Festival, promoted by the Parish Council of Barrô and the Municipal Council of Resende.

Throughout the event, visitors can meet muscat and wine producers, taste the traditional cavacas and discover the local cuisine, in an atmosphere of togetherness and entertainment. The gathering aims to promote this native product and reinforce Barrô as a destination linked to tradition, wines and the landscape above the Douro River.

This year, the festival also takes on a special meaning for the parish, affected by the closure of National Road 222, and presents itself as an invitation to visit Barrô and support its producers.
