Pap'Arroz Festival

The Largo da Igreja de Beiriz hosts another edition of the Festival Pap'Arroz, an initiative by Agrupamento de Escuteiros 373 - Beiriz dedicated to gastronomy around rice. The programme brings together several recipes, from duck rice to seafood rice, as well as monkfish rice, sardine rice, octopus rice, bean rice, rice pudding and arroz à morron.

The celebration also includes musical entertainment: on the 15th, Tunas Gatunos e Masculina do IPCA take to the stage; on the 16th, it is the turn of Rancho de Navais. This is the eighth edition of the event, which keeps its focus on flavours and on gathering around local tradition.
