Festivities in Honor of Senhor D’Agonia 26

Moure hosts several days of celebrations in honor of Senhor D’Agonia, with a program that brings together religious moments, music, humor, and popular entertainment. From 10 to 12 August, Via Lucis opens the cycle of ceremonies, followed on 13 August by the Eucharist and the Candlelight Procession, serenades by the Medical Student Band of the University of Minho, and fireworks.

The festivities continue on 14 August with João Seabra, André Gonçalves, another fireworks session, and music with Dj Meninos do Rio. On 15 August, the Zés Pereiras de Fragoso take the stage, along with the pilgrimage to the cemetery, activities at the football field, João Dantas, Adriana Lua, more fireworks, and Dj Cozta.

The closing is set for 16 August, with Eucharist at the Chapel of Sr. da Agonia accompanied by Banda Musical de Oliveira, Fanfarra B.V. Tirsenses, Banda Musical de Oliveira, religious rites, and the majestic procession. The day ends with an aerial show, a folk festival featuring groups from Bustelo, Carapeços, and Sta Maria de Moure, and a final fireworks display.
