Filho de ninguém

Mathilda and Thomas have been married for more than 15 years and have always wanted to have children. After several failed attempts, they adopt Mapring, a four-year-old Thai boy. Mathilda’s death in an accident leaves Thomas alone with a child with whom he has never managed to form a true bond.

Accompanied by Chaan, a local guide, Thomas sets off on a journey through Thailand in search of Mapring’s biological family. As they move forward, father and son begin to grow closer and build a relationship, but Thomas will have to decide what to do when he finds the boy’s family.

Directed by Safy Nebbou, the film stars Romain Duris, Cristiana Capotondi, Vithaya Pansringarm, Master Sanpasiri and Khosittachawanich. It is a French-Thai drama with a runtime of 1h37.
