*Smoke* follows Carolina's return to the newsroom where she worked, at a moment of change and unfinished business. The play brings together press freedom, work relationships, and bonds of friendship and love, while also exposing the tensions within a group marked by recent trauma and difficult decisions.
The text was written within the scope of the international project *Writing on New Realities*, based on artistic residencies in Portugal and Turkey. The 14 March session includes interpretation in Portuguese Sign Language.
