Galeria Municipal Jovem hosts the drawing exhibition "Camadas e mais o quê?"

Galeria Municipal Jovem presents the group exhibition of drawing and sculpture "Camadas e mais o quê?", with works by Filipa Alfama, Madalena Correia, Rita Ribeiro and Sandra Medeiros. The exhibition brings together drawing, sculpture, installation and other contemporary languages to explore the relationship between materiality, memory, emotion and imagination.

Starting from the idea of layering, the works invite visitors to reflect on the unconscious and on the territories between what is revealed and what remains hidden. The exhibition brings together four emerging young artists with distinct but dialoguing paths, and also includes the opening with the drawing workshop "Desenho Oculto", led by Madalena Correia and Sandra Medeiros, focused on experimentation through layers and on creation on wooden panels.

With free admission, the exhibition invites the public to discover the work of these creators in a context of exploring contemporary artistic practices, between the visible and the invisible.
