Há Canto no Museu

The Há Canto no Museu takes over the Museu do Neo-Realismo with two days dedicated to choral music and related activities, organized by Coro Notas Soltas de Vila Franca de Xira. The proposal brings together voice, reflection and creation, always centered on the relationship between music and museum space.

The program opens with the lecture “A caricatura da diva na ópera: Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro e o Teatro de São Carlos”, presented by Professor Luzia Rocha from the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco, in the museum auditorium. On the same day, the initiative continues in the GART Gallery, in Jardim Municipal Constantino Palha, with the workshop “Ao ritmo das cores”, led by Master Jorge Alexandre from GART - Grupo de Artistas Amigos da Arte.

The following day, the gathering culminates in the hall of the Museu do Neo-Realismo with a concert bringing together the CORO ALLA BREVIS da Sociedade Filarmónica Cartaxense and the CORO NOTAS SOLTAS de Vila Franca de Xira. Admission is free.
