Inauguration of the Permanent Orienteering Course in Mata da Machada

The Municipal Council of Barreiro, through the Environmental Education Centre, inaugurates a new Permanent Orienteering Course in Mata Nacional da Machada, created with Natour and designed to strengthen the link between sport, environmental education, and natural heritage. The session takes place next to Espaço Machada and is part of the 16th edition of «Barreiro no Mapa – Conhecer o Barreiro de Mapa na Mão», a NatourTrail project. The course was designed for the whole family, with a special control card for younger participants, and can be done individually or in a group, walking or running.
