In *AFRO SAL.OYÁ*, Isabél Zuaa presents a ritualistic pop-concert performance that brings together music, body and memory. The artist starts from the process of recording an album to explore choices still open — from the songs to the styles and the aesthetics — in a work where sound and matter come before words.

The creation summons the experience of an Afro-Saloia artist who grew up in a rural African suburb on the outskirts of Lisbon and proposes inhabiting what has been forgotten or seems unimaginable. The result is a scenic and musical encounter in which resonance, listening and crossing through guide the performance.

The performance is spoken in Cape Verdean Creole, Bissau-Guinean Creole, Spanish, English, Portuguese and Zulu, without subtitles.
