JEEP2026 – 47th Congress on Phase Equilibria (Journées d’Étude des Équilibres entre Phases)

The JEEP2026 – 47th Congress on Phase Equilibria (Journées d’Étude des Équilibres entre Phases) brings together researchers from academia and industry at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Coimbra for three days of scientific debate and sharing of results. Organized by João Canotilho and Ricardo Castro, faculty members of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra, the congress aims to be a meeting point for new collaborations and for discussion of topics related to thermodynamics and phase equilibrium.

The scientific programme includes presentations and talks on molecular, ionic, inorganic, metallic and soft-matter systems, with emphasis on ionic liquids, eutectic solvents, polymorphism, functional materials, metal alloys and molten salts. The contributions bring together experimental, theoretical, computational and data-driven perspectives, with applications in chemical processes, metallurgy, materials science, the pharmaceutical industry, energy and environmental technologies.
