Jules and Jim

Set in Paris from 1912, the film follows, over more than twenty-five years, the bond between Jules, Jim, and Catherine, a pivotal woman who becomes the center of both their obsessions. Based on the novel by Henri-Pierre Roché, it is part of the work of François Truffaut, a major figure of the Nouvelle Vague, evoked here in the context of a restored retrospective.
