KINTSUGI Oficina

This workshop is dedicated to kintsugi, the Japanese ceramic restoration technique that turns the marks of breakage into a visible part of the piece, rather than hiding them.

The session combines a theoretical introduction to the technique with a practical component, allowing participants to experiment with the repair process using alternative golden materials, without using gold powder. Participants may bring one or two ceramic pieces of personal significance to work on during the workshop.

The activity is led by Nic and Inês, identified as Nicholas Carvalho and Inês Almeida.
