At the age of five, with a saxophone in his hands, he was already performing with his father, Femi Kuti. Before turning 10, he had already appeared on the stages of Glastonbury and the Hollywood Bowl. He spent his childhood at The New Afrika Shrine in Lagos, Nigeria, where every year a festival is held in tribute to his grandfather, Fela Kuti. Composer, arranger, performer and multi-instrumentalist, Mádé Kuti makes eclectic afrobeat that ranges from jazz to alternative rock. In 2021, he made his debut with the album "For(e)Ward", tackling themes such as corruption, inequality and police violence. In 2025, he returned with "Chapter 1: Where Does Happiness Come From?". The Kuti afrobeat dynasty has a guaranteed future.
