Magellan

16th century. Magellan, a young and ambitious Portuguese navigator, rebels against the king's power, which does not support his dream of discovering the world. He persuades the Spanish Crown to finance his daring expedition to the legendary lands of the East. The journey proves harsher than expected, with hunger and mutinies pushing the crew to its limits. Upon reaching the islands of the Malay Archipelago, Magellan's mind changes, unleashing violent revolts that escape his control.
