Gondifelos Community Showcase

The Gondifelos Community Showcase takes over Parque de Lazer with a two-day programme that brings together socialising, tradition and entertainment for all ages. On Saturday, the opening is led by the Scout fanfare and the parade of the parish associations, followed by inflatables, children's activities, a sueca and prego tournament, a solidarity mountain-bike ride, a vintage motorbike gathering, the food contest «A Cebola É Rainha», dinner at the snack stalls, the torch parade and performances by Sara Sousa and the Banda Myllenium, before DJ music late into the night.

On Sunday, the Onion Fair takes centre stage from early on, alongside a long trail run, a short trail run and a walk, as well as an onion workshop and lunch at the snack stalls. The afternoon closes with a performance by the Gondifelos Senior Academy, followed by the Gondifelos Folk Group and the Santa Leocádia de Fradelos Folk Group. On both days there are food and drink stalls, an exhibition of vintage and classic cars and motorbikes, and inflatables.
