Nivine Kallas SãHO

In *SãHO*, Nivine Kallas creates a piece in which gesture and word meet in tension, taking the Arabic language as a starting point for rhythm, script and silence.

The creation emerges from the artist’s experience in the Lebanese education system and from a childhood marked by absence and silence. From there, the choreography traces a state of suspension between repression and light, with a body that veers away, rises and resists rather than obeys.

The performance lasts 40 minutes and is presented in the Main Hall of Teatro do Bairro Alto, with accessibility indicated for little or no text.
