about the event
The 11th edition of OCUPA presents two days dedicated to electronic music and digital art, with proposals that bring together concerts, audiovisual performances, installations and a conversation. The programme is split between gnration and Casa Rolão and includes a set of names that span very different approaches, from sound experimentation to more performative proposals.
Among the highlights are James Blackshaw, returning with the albums *Unravelling In Your Hands* and *Fractures On The Horizon*, and Bonga, a major figure in Angolan music and the headliner for the Open Day night. The line-up also includes Femme Falafel, Uncle Gueispar and the Oompa Loompas, Aunty Rayzor, Saya and Rádio Cacheu, in a programme designed to celebrate the diversity of electronic and digital languages.
