OPERA “A Small History of a People ...

The Municipality of Marinha Grande presents the opera "Pequena História de um Povo com Memória", performed by Quarteto Contratempus on the stage of Auditório José Vareda, at Sport Operário Marinhense (SOM). The creation offers a contemporary and intimate reading of times marked by surveillance, war and the restriction of freedom of expression and choice.

Over about 60 minutes, the work brings together music, words and emotion to give voice to experiences that have crossed generations. The session is suitable for ages 6 and up and tickets cost 5 euros.
